Not sure how it's been at the othger lakes this year but I have made a few trip in to Catfish Valley. Caught a few and seen a few caught but have only heard stories about the days they have turned on.
I personally have caught some 30+ and had my line snapped a couple of times there. Seen a couple of 40's caught also. He's got some big ones in there though as my buddy was standing there when they dropped them in.
It's not a big lake as some I have seen but it's clean and the folks running the place are good people. Very easy to have a relaxing day there.

Thank you for sharing
When you say the pay lake is not big exactly or close to how big?
Is the lake square or circled?
